MK Ultra Project — Conspiracy?

MK Ultra Project. This project was created during the cold war era. The CIA was convinced that the communists had created a drug that could control the human mind. Thus, MK Ultra Project was born. This project operated between the years of 1953–1973, conducted by the CIA government and Canadian government. The man in charge of this project was a man named Sidney Gottlieb who was the CIA’s Chemist and Poison expert.

The experiments were aimed at one thing: mind control. Thus, the techniques used were brutal and sinister. These tests were primarily conducted throughout Canada and The United States involving more than 150 human experiments. These experiments included: psychedelic drugs, paralytics and even electroshock therapy. Other drugs included: MDMA (ectasy), Mescaline, Heroin, Barbiturates, Methamphetamine, and psilocybin (“magic mushrooms”).

The MK Ultra project inspired the show Stranger Things primarily from its conspiracy theories surrounding Camp Hero located in New York City. The site was opened to the public on September 18th, 2002 as Camp Hero State Park. This site had been established in 1929 and decomissioned in the 1980s. The stories that originated claims were from supposed victims by the names of Preston Nichols and Al Bielek. These men both believe they recovered repressed memories of their own involvement. Preston believed that he was periodically abducted to continue his participation against his will. The many horrific events that took place behind Camp Hero’s doors were inhumane.

Camp Hero’s primary focus of operation was: Time Travel, Teleportation, Mind Control, contact with aliens, and staging faked apollo moon landings and framed as developments which followeds a successful 1943 Philadelphia experiment. Bielek claims to have discovered repressed memories in 1988 of the Philadelphia experiment. These men believe, they along with those who were also involved with this experiment, had their memories expunged, or “wiped out” and re-wired. The experiments came to an end, according to Nichols, when those who were involved rebelled and destroyed all the equipment.

Over time this information had become public knowledge but the CIA still does not own up to the damage caused to the victims and their families — the aftermath. In recent news, there has been some that have stepped forward for a law suit against the CIA to obtain some compensation for the pain and suffering they’ve endured. Still, I feel that not many know about the MK Ultra Project, because I sure didn’t know about it until I watched a show a few years ago. What else is the government hiding from us that we do not know about? That is the question.
